I think I'm going to shift my focus away from art for a while. I'm just not feeling it anymore. My ideas are progressing faster than my skill can keep up, so I'm going to try to do more writing and see how it goes. I've been concepting some things for a while but I've been getting too hung up on the art part of it, when I really need to work harder on actually writing the shit down. Maybe at some point I'll feel the urge to get back into drawing more heavily, but right now I feel like I have a lot more to offer in terms of story telling than art. There are so many great artists out there, and while I could keep working hard, and get to that level, I don't feel like I'd be doing anything that isn't already out there. When I look at the world of writers though, I think I have something much more unique to offer. My goal is still firmly aimed at comics though. Hopefully by the end of the summer I'll have something to show, or maybe I'll give up. Who knows. I'm unpredictable like that. And truthfully I'm not 100% on this, so I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.
